Banner Requirements General.
A. Custom Banners Measurement. The measurement of the banner area to determine banner area limitation compliance shall be calculated as follows:
1. Area. The surface of a banner shall be calculated by measuring the extreme limits of the framing, writing, logo, etc. within a single continuous perimeter made up of squares or rectangles with not more than eight lines.
2. Double Faced Banners. The area of a double faced banner shall be calculated as a single banner face if the angle at the highest point of the banner does not exceed 30 degrees.
3. Three-Dimensional Banners. Where a banner consists of three-dimensional objects the area of the banner shall be measured as their vertical plane.
4. Structural Component. Supporting framework or bracing which is clearly incidental to the advertising banner display shall not be measured as banner area.
5. Time/Temperature Signs. The area of any temperature and/or time device incorporated into a banner shall not be included in the total calculation of total banner area.
